LEV 2:14-16 Grain Offering of First Fruits Law

Scripture

“ ‘If you offer a meal offering of first fruits to YHWH, you shall offer for the meal offering of your first fruits fresh heads of grain parched with fire and crushed. 15 You shall put oil on it and lay frankincense on it. It is a meal offering. 16 The priest shall burn as its memorial part of its crushed grain and part of its oil, along with all its frankincense. It is an offering made by fire to YHWH.

Present Day Example

A man bringing a grain offering of first fruits to YHWH at his Tabernacle. The man will take fresh heads of grain, parched with fire and crushed, and put oil on it and lay frankincense on it. The man will also add salt onto the offering. The man will then bring the offering to the priest. The priest will take a handful of the man's offering with part of its oil and all its frankincense and burn it on the altar. The priest will then keep the remainder of the grain offering of first fruits for himself and the other priest.
