LEV 10:14-15 Levitical Priest Portion of Peace Offering Law

Scripture

The waved breast and the heaved thigh you shall eat in a clean place, you, and your sons, and your daughters with you: for they are given as your portion, and your sons’ portion, out of the sacrifices of the peace offerings of the children of Israel. 15 They shall bring the heaved thigh and the waved breast with the offerings made by fire of the fat, to wave it for a wave offering before YHWH. It shall be yours, and your sons’ with you, as a portion forever, as YHWH has commanded.”

The waved breast and the heaved thigh you shall eat in a clean place, you, and your sons, and your daughters with you: for they are given as your portion, and your sons’ portion, out of the sacrifices of the peace offerings of the children of Israel.
They shall bring the heaved thigh and the waved breast with the offerings made by fire of the fat, to wave it for a wave offering before YHWH. It shall be yours, and your sons’ with you, as a portion forever, as YHWH has commanded.

Present Day Example

This is a present day example of the Levitical Priest Portion of Peace Offering Law being followed.

A man brings for a peace offering to YHWH at the Tabernacle a bull without defect to sacrifice for a vow. The man will kill the bull before YHWH at the Tabernacle and he will then cut the bull into pieces. The man will bring the fat and the breast to the priest. The priest will wave the breast for a wave offering and burn the fat on the altar. The man will also bring the right thigh of the bull to the priest for a heave offering; and the priest will keep the breast and right thigh as his portion. The priests, along with their sons and daughters will eat of the waved breasts and heaved thighs in a clean place.
